I wish they could get KSP1 to load anywhere near this. Needs some improving of course but it's already much more user friendly than KSP1. Runs well until you get above 60 parts or so, then it lags. Performance for me isn't bad (3060Ti, Ryzen 7 3700X, 32GB). Well after a few hours playing around with it, this is a mixed bag for me. The terrible performance + large amount of bugs is the #1 issue with the game if you look at minimum/recommended specs its crazy what they published for this. I mean just even thinking about a bit more complex vehicles i dunno how performance is going to handle it.
Ksp2 early access full#
you‘d expect a sequel even in EA to at least be somewhat competitive with the previous full release, but outside of graphics, this game is arguably worse off in its EA state than the original was in its own EA state - and this is with a much bigger team and money It has potential but to me it feels like a long way off, and definitely not what people would expect buying a sequel to a game to be in the state it is now, especially since the sequel in its current state is severely behind in every area outside of graphics and the procedural/scaling of parts you can do. it‘s not just gameplay bugs, there‘s just endless amount of UI bugs, even just saving and loading vehicles/your game. i dont mind the lack of stuff in the game, but the crazy amount of bugs/performance + price tag is ridiculous. There really is no reason playing this right now outside of better graphics. I was playing KSP back in the day when it was first publicly available around some time 2011 with a very small team, 2 years or so later when it hit early access on steam, it worked better than this, and was way less buggy Thirdly, the game is so extremely buggy and is missing so much features Secondly, the performance is so bad and I have built a brand new high-end PC, 13700k, 4090 inserting human/english voice just ruins it just leave it at that, that‘s what was cute. why do this? kerbals have their nonsensical language. Seriously disappointed with this so far or maybe i had wrong expectationsįirstly, the cinematic/intro/tutorial whatever using an english/human voice for kerbals is just awful.
